You know, the sports world has taken a few days off to rip Mike Gundy about how “unprofessional” his tirade was last weekend. Well, first of all, isn’t it a head coach’s job to protect his players… and make sure that any potential recruits know that he will back them? By that standard, his public rant was extremely professional.

But enough with semantics… I have a a few theories about what happened; two theories to be exact.

Theory 1: Mike Gundy is simply a huge fan of Anchorman

Theory 2: Mike Gundy thought he was invisible

If you ask me, there are many instances in his press conference where Gundy seemed to look like he was trying to blend into the environment… and it’s possible that he believed himself to be invisible at times… and an invisible interviewee is impossible to hold accountable.

Okay, so sorry, but it’s Friday and since it took some drinks to come up with the theories I’m betting that you might have to be in a similar mindset to see just how ingenious these two theories really are.
