Yesterday the Sharks signed veteran center Jeremy Roenick to a one year deal worth $500,000. I can’t tell if Roenick will be the Sharks’ third line center or fourth line center; either way this deal makes very little sense for either party, and is best summed up by my brother’s comment from yesterday:

Pure speculation: Back when Roenick and Doug Wilson were teammates, JR may have caught Douggie in a “compromising situation”, and this is him collecting his hush money. I can see no other reason to bring someone on board who would do something like this:
