I’ve told you about ruggers Danny Grewcock (England) and Tony Woodcock (New Zealand); ruggers with humorous surnames that, to be honest, probably made them legends in school and probably contributed to the fact that they did end up playing a “violent” sport.
But when compared to the next rugger with an unfortunate name, those names would be great to have. See, last week halfback Richard Wigglesworth was named to England’s 2007 World Cup roster.

Wigglesworth, 24, was England Saxons’ first-choice number nine in this year’s Churchill Cup.A product of Sale’s Academy, he can also play on the wing or at fly-half.
“Wiggles” is an excellent rugger in his own right, but probably won’t see any playing time this fall. If anyone feels so inclined, feel free to drop in your best “Wigglesworth - Grewcock” joke into the comments section as the two are now teammates representing the Queen. Setups for a joke really can’t get any easier than that.
