That’s a phrase one of my football coaches once preached, and a phase that Barry Sanders seemed to live by. Show that you belong in the endzone by acting like its no big deal; you’ve been there before and you’ll be there again.
So after watching Bonds hit 756* tonight, all I could think about is that, yes, it’s a huge milestone… but how cool would it have been if Barry hit the longball and like a pimp, just acted like it was any other home run? Maybe someday.. maybe whoever breaks his record; but to me that would be the most badass way of celebrating a milestone… and strangely classy at the same time.
