Stupid Rookie, Always Protect The Family Jewels… Always

landry.jpgIf there were ever a reason for a rookie to miss minicamp in the NFL - this is the reason of all reasons.

When the Redskins opened their three day minicamp on Friday, coach Joe Gibbs let the guys out early to do some bonding. Some went bowling, others had lunch. One group, with 6th overall draft pick LaRon Landry included, played paintball.

Seems that someone must have been upset with Landry or worried he may be taking their spot on the team - how else do you explain the fact that LaRon got shot squarely in the groin?

“I didn’t know paintball was that dangerous,” linebacker Marcus Washington said. “I hope it wasn’t friendly fire.”

LaRon - next year… just go to lunch instead.
