A Trade!!

A trade was made mid-week last week, I (Pullman Sofa Kings) picked up JJ Hardy from Donkey Carnival for BJ Upton and Chris Duncan. Surely, I will come out with the short stick on this one, because Hardy cannot, and will not keep this up. But I was getting no production at all from my SS slot, and the low contact rates of Upton and Duncan (63.51% and 76.83% respectively) were scaring the crap out of me that the bottom was going to fall out at some point. But I did give up a whole lot, especially when you consider the fact that Upton and Dunc combine to cover 1B, 2B, 3B, LF and RF; hopefully Hardy can at least keep it up long enough for Bill Hall to pick up his game a bit.

The biggest steal of the week though could have been
Donkey Carnival grabbing Jim Thome off the Free Agent list? Thome was a free agent? I need to start paying a little more attention to the free agent lists and less time trying to get a trade.
