Try being this guy, who just got suspended two years from rugby for testing positive for cocaine.
Paul Price of Lydney RFC, who pleaded guilty, tested positive following a National League Three South game against Cinderford at on 17 March 2007.
The suspension by an RFU disciplinary panel runs until 17 April 2009.
It includes playing, training with or being a member of a club, coaching, administering or acting in any official capacity within the sport.
I’m really not sure what to make of this, considering that earlier this week I reported that a rugger was suspended six months for eye gouging. But I guess if you don’t want drugs of any kind being in your sport, that is the way to go, and I Bud Selig might want to take notes, because who would even consider ‘Roids if the punishment was a two year ban.
