Last Friday I took part in Awful Announcing’s “Complete Sports Bloggers Mock Draft Version 1.0″, and drafted on behalf of the Texans. I ended up taking Miami tight end Greg Olsen, because I think that in general you can really mess with a defensive coordinator’s head if you can go into the spread formation, double tight formation, or single tight with an H-back all with the same personnel set. That seemed like a good choice, especially since he kind of sort of fills two rolls the Texans needed (WR and blocking) and Houston’s trade with the Falcons cost them their second round pick. Which is a shame for them because someone is going to get Trent Edwards in the second round and be very happy with him.
