Okay, so let me get this straight: NBA personnel cannot talk to, nor talk about college players until they have declared. That makes no sense. “Why would a Wookiee, an eight-foot tall Wookiee, want to live on Endor, with a bunch of two-foot tall Ewoks? That does not make sense!”.
I’m sorry, but if the Cleveland Cavaliers can take a dump on the chest of competitive sport, and tank an entire season to get LeBron James, I think someone can talk to Kevin Durant’s mom. Honestly, what sense does this make? I do understand, that they don’t want NBA teams pressuring college athletes to go to the NBA, I understand. But what sense does that make when college teams get to start recruiting these kids when they learn to walk? So its okay for a college coach to promise the world to a 14-year old, but Danny Ainge talking to a college student’s mom is forbidden. Awesome, the world makes no sense again.
