This is it, the final installment of the series which will leave your friends and coworkers in tears, rolling on the floor in laughter.
You have no idea, none at all, how much I wanted to pull the trigger on putting WSU straight into the final four. I was close, but Georgetown is just too damn good. I really do not see a lot of upsets in this bracket, it is much more stable than the West region, it is kind of the anti-West region, and I think that a lot of those prepping the nation for Oral Robert’s mythic run at the Elite Eight are going to be sorely disappointed to find out what a lot of Pac 10 teams found out about the WSU Cougars: they may not intimidate, they are definitely not household names, but they are in every game they play and play to win. I’m not saying it can’t happen, but WSU gets very little credit outside of the Pacific Northwest… probably because they don’t put points on the scoreboard like “elite” teams can.
