On cheapskate TV that is, I know its probably pay-per-view and all, but I’m a poor college student, all I can afford is MLB.tv. But whether or not I can actually watch, I can still speculate, and speculate I will. From looking at the current standings, and one last set of games on St. Patrick’s Day it looks to me like England is the favorite to win this year’s Six Nations rugby tournament.

France had a shot to beat England and pretty much win outright, but got beat like Frenchmen, I guess quite literally, and now England, Ireland, and France are all tied at the top with three wins to one loss. I say England wins it all with the pts for and pts against differentials since they have, by far, the easiest game left: Wales who keeps getting beat like they stole something.

So next Saturday, when you are wearing your green, I’ll be wearing my England jersey celebrating the tournament victory.
