Rochestie, the sophomore transfer from Tulane was huge tonight, getting 21 points in their double overtime win over USC. The linescore will tell you how many points he scored, but it won’t tell you that he hit a clutch jumper and went 6-for-6 from the line in the 2nd overtime period.
Now, the Cougs’ should never have even been in that 2nd OT in the first place, the refs seemed to have it in for the Cougs and called a phantom foul on a 3 point attempt and then goaltending on a play where the ball had obviously crossed out from being above the rim.
Well, enough blogging, more celebrating the Cougars’ 2nd place finish in the Pac 10.
