This story is a few days old, but I figured I’d sit on it until I needed some inspiration for a post.
But what is it that makes boxers completely insane? Mike Tyson used to be the extreme example of this, but recently World cruiserweight champion O’Neil Bell decided to teach a lesson in one upsmanship.
First of all, I think that someone was really confused because O’Neil is in no way a first name… but, O’Neil was on a training run in the woods with his sparring partner Larry Slayton, when Larry must have poked fun at Bell’s first name, because O’Neil got so irate that he threw a hatchet at Larry.
O’Neil was carrying the hatchet for protection against bears. I don’t know what bears O’Neill hoped to protect himself from with a hatchet, maybe a gun would have been a better choice… but not for Larry. Larry should be happy that O’Neill’s thought process makes about as much sense as his first name. If your tool to use in defense of bears is best suited for hand-to-hand combat, I’m making the bear a heavy favorite.
