I hated Peter Forsberg for quite a long time, I hated that stupid ginger with every ounce of my soul. When I lived in Colorado, I had to deal with some Avalanche fans (read some, not all) who knew nothing about hockey or even the history of their own franchise, but loved to be on the Peter Forsberg bandwagon and tell everyone all about how much fun it was to ride Peter Forsberg. So it was with great pleasure that we displayed a Red Wings banner proudly from the window of our house… directly across the street from CSU… pretty much a f-u to all of those fans who we could not stand.

So now, of course, Forsberg found his way back to the Western Conference, and onto the conference leading Nashville Predators (he was traded yesterday from the Flyers). Since right now the Sharks are poised to be in a position to play Nashville in the second round I guess that means that I need to dig out all my old voodoo dolls and effigies. The hand grenades did a little damage, but I bet I still have most of them in some form or another.
