Considering the fact that there has not been a halfway decent Olympic mascot since…. well… well, I don’t ever remember the Olympics ever announcing a mascot or creating a symbol that passed as a sports icon or emblem… most often it looks like somehting you’d see at Wally World.

But China being who they are, happen to be a little pissed off right now because “internet pranksters” (aka people who know how to use a computer and have good taste) have been spoofing the logo and mascots for the 2008 Olympics. As a matter of fact, they are so pissed off that they are threating legal action, saying that the manipulated images of the logos and mascots is “a rights violation that contravenes [China’s] laws and regulations”

I’m not quite sure if this can be for real or not, cause what the hell do you expect when your mascots look like trolls on crack?
