Really? Where?
Eh, somewhere in the back.
Well, wrong or not, here are my picks for this weekends playoff games:
Kansas City at Indianapolis (IND -7)
The Colts are seven point favorites at home, but if the Texans can rack up 150+ rushing yards on the Colts then LJ should be running wild all day long. Given the Colts nasty habit of choking in the playoffs, I have to take KC with the spread on this one. [0 for 1, bad start to the playoff season]
Dallas at Seattle (SEA -3)
This game is going to have just way too much drama for me to handle. The Hawks’ secondary is getting hurt like its going out of style and when they go into nickel and dime packages they might end up with guys on the field who have not played a down all season long… bad news if TO can actually take his attention away from watching himself on the big screen long enough to actually catch a pass. Dallas also probably has an edge in the running game as they have two potent backs and again this is not an area where the Hawks have bragging rights defensively. Home field advantage may be able to neutralize the Boys passing attack if Romo and Owens get frustrated early and the crowd gets on their back… but I would have to say that with a three point spread in favor of Seattle, my money would have to be on Dallas. [1 for 2; go local sports team and/or college!]
New York at New England (NE -8.5)
The Pats are heavy favorites in this one, and the Jets don’t have much going for them in this matchup. Cont on New England advancing, and most likely by more than 8.5 points. [2-1 for the weekend... not too shabby]
New York at Philadelphia (PHI -6.5)For some reason it seems like the Saturday games will be much better matchups, as the Eagles have won all of their last three games by 7 or more points, including a 36-22 victory over these same Giants three weeks ago. Take the Eagles for another boring Sunday playoff matchup. [Okay...so not exactly boring and teh Eagles did not cover. 50% for the weekend. Hopefully I do better next week]
