It goes against everything that I stand for and hold sacred, but if Notre Dame beats USC next weekend we should be seeing a Wolverine - Buckstash Buckeye rematch in January. Other teams to root for in the coming weeks include Hawaii, Oregon State, and Stanford. The reason being is that if Stanford beats Cal, Oregon State beats Oregon and Hawaii beats Oregon state, USC’s strength of schedule takes a big hit and hopefully neutralizes the Notre Dame win, who in case you forgot lost a big one at home to Michigan earlier this season. Combine that with the fact that Wisconsin can only go up in the BCS and Ohio State is not going anywhere, and I say that Michigan goes to the title game regardless of whether or not USC beats Notre Dame, but a loss sure would help to make things easier.

So as painful as it might be, Michigan fans need to sack up, eat some Lucky Charms and hope the Irish can revenge the “Bush Push” of 2005.
