Remind me to be careful when I go to scout opponents next year. Now, Utah is a little strange to begin with, I have always thought of it as America’s Quebec. But I really don’t think that can explain this event.
In Midvalle, Utah a Dad taping his son’s middle school football game was mistaken by authorities as a sniper, who then called the SWAT team to take care of the situation.
James Kranz wanted to shoot video of his children playing on Saturday. But an officer spotted him climbing a ladder onto the school’s roofwith what looked like a rifle, said police Sgt. Gregg Olsen.
“An officer saw a man on top of the roof, walking around, pacing back and forth,” Olsen said. “He was acting extremely suspicious.”
sponsorIt turned out to be a lawn chair that Kranz had with him — not a gun.
Pardon me for just a moment: those who we entrust to “protect and serve” actually mistook a lawn chair for a sniper rifle? Allow yourself to think about that for a moment to really appreciate the stupidity that was floating around in the air that fine day…
Lawn chair….
Sniper rifle…
Okay good. Now for the good part.
Kranz jumped down from the roof and ran when officers tried to get him to drop to his knees and show his hands, Olsen said. Kranz told police he didn’t respond because he didn’t believe they were really officers.
I’m sorry but I have two points to demonstrate the stupidity of that guy:
1. If they weren’t cops, then that means these are well armed psychos who are probably not the best crowd to disobey
2. They are cops and you are a complete moron
