Just Doing My Part To Bring Down The Man

fantasy football.jpgI knew playing fantasy football was a drain on one’s social life, but had no idea it could cause so much real damage.

According to a recent study, workers managing their fantasy football teams on the job costs employers as much as $1.1 billion a week in lost productivity. Per week. That is a small economy every week lost because some moron drafted David Carr thinking that this year’s gonna be the year the Texans turn it all around, and now he has to decide between Alex Smith or Joey Harrington as a replacement.

Its all blown out of control though. I have a hard time believing that if fantasy football were not available that these same people would not find another way to blow $1.1 billion per week.
