I enjoy playing fantasy sports, mainly fantasy baseball and football. But I also played real sports, you know, the ones where you are the one who is actually physially playing. Yep. Those are the ones.
But apparantly the line is not so clear anymore to people on what exactly personal acheivement is. Jostens sells rings to these people. On Jostens’ website, you can buy yourself (I don’t know who else is going to) a championship ring to forever remember that wonderful season of geeking out and beating your friends (or total strangers in some cases) in your fantasy league. I played with the options online and you can actually buy a $1,949 fantasy championship ring! I have three words for any proud owners of such a ring: deep psychological issues.
If anyone ever sees me wearing one of these, I would like you to take the following steps:
- Discontinue your friendship with me. I probably won’t notice, I will have fantasy friends by then… just like myspace
- Shoot me… please… I mean it
You might be surprised though at all the crap Jostens offers… homeschool graduation caps, gowns, and diplomas… homeschool yearbook? Isn’t that just a family photo album? These people must be stopped.

[…] Santa and Hanakkuh Harry brought me two huge playoff wins in my fantasy football leagues. With todays games left to go and many players still yet to play, I have already crushed the compteition. I guess this means I may need to get myself a championship ring for my own present this year. […]
