Todd Sauerbrun is going to be the new answer to “who was the first player to be suspended after testing positive for the banned supplement ephedra?” Yep, Todd, that’s who. The punter (I will repeat, punter, for clarification) failed a drug test and will most likely miss a few games this season. The punter was taking ephedra, the substance that helped Anna Nicole Smith get skinny again (too bad it can’t make people smarter), so obviously Todd has some issues with his self image.

But the guy can kick, yea. I’m just wondering can he outkick his baggage and keep his roster spot? Not sure. This suspension can be added to his 2004 DUI and also being implicated in a steroid scandal from his days in Carolina. Of course these are the Broncos, who have signed such class acts as Maurice Clarett, “Bomb — —- ” David Terrell, Bradlee Van Pelt and Jake “Road Rage” Plummer so mabye Todd is trying to fit in.
