Considering how bears ate a monkey in a Dutch zoo last month, right in front of zoo guests, you would think that any wild bear would tear a little house cat to pieces. Yea… apparantly not the case.
I know cats are territorial, but I guess fearless too. In West Milford, NJ a house cat scared the living daylights out of a black bear, and chased it up a tree. Now when I think of the term, “survival of the fittest,” I don’t think I ever would have imagined this scenario. The bears in New Jersey must be getting soft.
It also makes me wonder, if when I get those angry looks from our cat Tigre, if she really is thinking, “I can take you.”
